WHY BACKFLOW TESTING IS REQUIRED:

Federal law requires water suppliers to protect their water systems from contamination or pollution by cross-connections. Backflow preventers must be tested at least once each year to ensure that they are performing properly in preventing backflow. When necessary they must be repaired in order to assure proper operation.

Urban plumbing Service, Inc. is a State Licensed plumbing contractor. What does that mean for you? That means that if for whatever reason your backflow fails the re-certification process, we are licensed and insured to repair your backflow.

Our fees for Backflow Re-certification are:

$35 for one (1) backflow

$10 for an additional backflow at the same location

Payment is due at the time of service.

We accept cash, check & Visa/MasterCard/discover as payment.
